What can I expect from the hiring process?
To make it a little easier we have pulled together an overview on what to expect from our Hiring Process
Do I have to take part in outdoor sports or events to apply for a role at Montane?
No, you don’t need to be an athlete to work at Montane, although its helpful if you share our appreciation for being in the outdoors, whether that’s climbing a mountain, fast and light alpine, or just being outside.
If I’m not successful for one role, can I still apply for another?
Yes, even if you haven’t been successful for one role, your skills, experience and approach might be better suited to another of our roles.
Do you use recruitment agencies?
We always aim to hire direct without using recruitment agencies, therefore, if you see a role advertised you should always apply direct. If we are finding it difficult to find the right candidate then we might ask one of our recruitment agency partners to support us with our search.
Can I submit a speculative application if there isn’t a role advertised?
You can submit a speculative application by sending your CV and a covering letter to recruitment@montane.com In the subject of the email please include the following text ‘speculative application - the department that you are interested in working in’. We will keep speculative applications for 12 months.
Do you accept applications for remote work?
The majority of our roles are based out of our HQ in Northumberland. Collaboration is a key part of how we work at Montane. Depending on the role, our full time team members work on site 4 days a week and at home 1 day a week. We do have some territory based roles across our sales team.
