Introducing Galen Reynolds

Originally from Canada, with an ice hockey background, Galen Reynolds has transferred his athletic dexterity and dedication to a new arena: long mountain ultras.

He has run some of the most iconic ultras in the world, including the UTMB and the Tor des Geants, where he finished second in 2018 and 2019. In 2019, he also broke Marcus Scotney's course record at the Montane Dragon's Back and won the Montane Cheviot Goat.

Living in Slovenia for the past few years, Galen has been on a hot streak of wins in several prestigious European ultras. These include a first-place finish at the 360km Swiss Peaks race, which has over 26,610m of ascent, and most recently, a win at the Garda Trentino Trail Extra 100.
