    This jacket fit well and is lightweight and compact. I haven’t actually worn it in the rain so can’t comment on how waterproof it is.

    Phase Nano

    Super lightweight. I have only been out in about 2 hours of solid rain, and I was completely dry, which is what I wanted, lightweight, but actually keeps you dry. Hopefully it will be ok in longer spells of rain. Lovely fit, only 2 minor comments. I would have preferred velcro cuffs, rather than elasticated. It's slightly difficult to check your watch, and I expect that the elastic will slacken in time. And the hood has no way of restraining it, so it flaps about a bit if windy, and it can get wet on the inside if you don't actually have it up. I would normally go for a size 10, but the 12 is perfect (I tried on someone else's Spine jacket which was a size 12 before purchasing).

    Prez for the Wifey

    OK so as mentioned in the title this was a gift for the Wifey.... replacing her existing Montane Gortex for her 5th L100 this year....

    Anyhoo.... recently tested on a training run out in the Lakes, I am reliably informed it performs well in the wet, has good room underneath for layering and the hood is well designed and works well....

    No 5 STARS? .... well not yet! ... that's a one for, time will tell! but wifey's impressed so far
