The Montane Men’s Protium Fleece Jacket showcases recycled zip technology, with YKK’s NATULON® VISLON® full-length, and pocket zips. These zips are made from mechanically recycled plastic from PET bottles and other sources, to give single-use plastics another life, and reduce weight compared to metal zips, without compromising performance.

THERMO GRID FLEECE. Lightweight Warmth.

When you want warmth that doesn’t weigh you down, the key is intelligent design. The THERMO GRID FLEECE has a brushed back and gridded format, which both trap more warm air close to the body without having to increase the depth of the fabric. The fleece also works to draw moisture and excess heat away from the body and out into the air, for advanced breathability.

    One of the best hiking fleeces out there

    I bought this for my birthday and could not be happier. Snug fit, keeps you warm, wicks away sweat. All you could ask for in a fleece like this. This is a must have if you are an avid hiker or an occasional outdoors person.

    A go-to garment 😃

    Light, instantly warm and snug fitting … perfect!

    I’m getting one in the next size up as a cardigan substitute for casual wear .It will be ideal for cooler evenings outside.

    (Sorry, did I not mention that I’m too old to be running about on mountainsides) … charities for the elderly and homeless should have a stock of Montane garments to help them through the winter. Just a thought.
