    Great replacement for Gecko VP 20+

    These are a great replacement for the straps that came with my Gecko VP 20+. While the originals are secure when you're wearing the bag, both ends unclip very easily when not being worn so the straps just end up in the bottom of a bag or worse!

    These are a much simpler, better design. Because they loop through themselves there's very little change of them accidentally becoming unclipped. When you want to intentionally move them though, it's very easy.

    I'd recommend these for anyone who has an older model Gecko (I think these now come as standard) and don't want the anxiety of not knowing if the straps will be there next time they want to use the bag. They are a straight replacement.

    Pack straps - tightening fix

    Resolved issue with pack slipping every mile which required tightening ridiculously often whilst running. Easy to install, ran 35km 1st time using them not tightened once. Great solution, should be built into the 20l pack as standard.

    Montane Elasticated Chest Straps

    Unfortunately this item doesn't solve the problem of the slippage of the strap! I have to tighten it every couple of minutes which is a real pain over distance, I have chopped it up and made my own with a thicker elastic which seems to have solved the problem. Montane take note and please fix this moving forward.
