About the Role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Retail Supervisor to join us in their next career adventure and support the store management team to provide an inspiring, exciting and welcoming store environment for our customers.

What will you do - Responsibilities:

At Montane we get excited about inspiring and enabling our customers to do more in the outdoors. In store we want to create a fun and inspiring environment for our team where every member is passionate about the brand, the product and providing excellent customer service.

The Store Supervisor will help lead the team to success by:

  • Providing and inspiring others to deliver excellent customer service at all times.
  •  Developing fantastic product knowledge in order to provide customers with product information and advice.
  • Knowing store targets and driving sales to achieve them.
  • Supporting with stock replenishment and merchandising.
  • Supporting, training and coaching other team members to deliver high standards of performance and customer service.
  • Leading the team in the absence of store management.
  • Ensuring store standards, Health and Safety, compliance and policies are met at all times.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 1 year + experience of working in a supervisor position in a retail store.
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • A positive and proactive mindset.
  • The ability to lead others, take responsibility and make decisions when required.
  • Fantastic communication skills, verbal, written, listening.
  • Good commercial awareness and mindset.
  • A team player approach to work.
  • A keen interest in the outdoors.
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Location: Ashington, Northumberland.

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.

Contract: Part Time (30 Hours) or Full Time, rota based including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
