Materials
A four-way stretch double-weave softshell fabric that combines durability, weather protection, and exceptional comfort. A peached backer provides a soft feel against the skin, while the non-fluorocarbon durable water repellent (DWR) finish helps shed light rain. Engineered with abrasion resistance exceeding 20,000 cycles (9kPa), it delivers long-lasting durability in high-wear environments.
This extreme protective fabric was originally developed for motorcycle racing. High-tensile aramid fibres, such as Kevlar®, ensure high durability as well as temperature stability in combination with a high level of clothing comfort. For lasting protective properties, Schoeller has developed special production processes such as special weaving techniques and core spun Kevlar® yarns. This leads to fabrics which meet the highest requirements.
