Lack of attention to detail in design, inexcusably poor construction, not effective
1. Wind enters through the stitched seam that runs across the middle of the jacket because it is put together with only a single line of stich the two pieces of conjoined fabric is pulled apart/stretched and opened constantly when moving in the jacket, i.e. walking, running, this is without the jacket having a tight fit on me anywhere.
2. Wind enters through into both front pockets hand pockets if you put your hands in them, through the lower stitched seam that runs beneath and across the length of the jacket, again because the fabric pulls apart and is being stretched apart too easily, so in cold wind your hands will be encompassed by it.
So much for 'windproof'!
3. The front pockets zip upwards, not downward, so you can't zip and seal the pockets down against your wrists to help keep the wind out - lack of attention to detail with design.
4. The nylon material becomes cold to the touch when using this jacket as an outer most layer with any cooler wind, so it isn't effective in keeping wind chill out in a sense because layers underneath become cold.
5. Very very thin and flimsy and is frightening to walk through wooded areas for fear it catches on a branch and tears.
6. Draw cords at the hem do not remain in-place and become free too easily, because the cinches are not tight enough and the material of the cords slippery in a sense, so the jacket fit loosens up and lets wind up. As well, the jacket rides up your body easily if you bend over with the jacket…
