Lightweight and extremely protective, the Montane Alta Lite waterproof jacket is built from lightweight GORE-TEX PRO technology, constructed to reduce weight and maximise full garment breathability.

Engineered with gear compatibility in mind, this waterproof jacket features our helmet compatible PIVOT 3 hood giving you dual crown adjustment and volume reduction when needed. Two harness-compatible AquaGuard zipped hand pockets ensure comfort while also protecting valuable items you need to stow away.

The Alta Lite features our advanced BARRIER and STORMGUARD systems, designed to prevent water ingress and enhance performance. The dropped hem and mountain fit ensure complete protection, with added volume to allow for a full technical layering system.

This next-generation membrane is durably waterproof, windproof, and highly breathable, and constructed without intentional use of PFAS chemicals, significantly reducing its environmental impact. All of these products are rigorously tested in the lab and out in the field to ensure they perform in the most extreme conditions.

Every seam, panel and feature is designed to manage heat, allow movement, and cut weight without compromising on weather protection.

Full Garment Breathability

We've improved breathability through new construction methods in our GORE-TEX waterproofs while removing unecessary material to reduce weight and increase performance. Our alta jackets feature pit zips and reduced seam taping without any loss of waterproofing. This promotes breathability and slashes weight from the garment.

Our new BARRIER TECHNOLOGY features at all hems and openings to prevent moisture ingress at the edge of the shell to keep you dry and preserve breathable performance.
